This Privacy Policy describes how S G Enterprises, operating under the brand name ZyaanPlus ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit zyaanplus.com, use our dashboard, or engage with our services.
This policy is published in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and other applicable Indian data protection laws.
By using this website and our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are
Business Name: ZyaanPlus
Operated By: S G Enterprises
Country of Operation: India
Contact: support@zyaanplus.com · WhatsApp +91 95995 82123
ZyaanPlus is a privately owned exam intelligence platform for government job aspirants. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) or any Government ministry, department or authority.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that is necessary to deliver our services. What we collect depends on how you use ZyaanPlus.
2.1 Account & Profile Details
- Full name
- Mobile number (used as your login identity, verified by OTP)
- Date of birth (used to confirm you are 18 or above, and to calculate exam eligibility)
- Email address (where provided)
- Category (General / OBC / SC / ST / EWS) — where you choose to provide it, used only for eligibility matching
- State / location — used only for eligibility matching
- Education level
- Benchmark disability (PwD) status and category — entirely optional, see below
- Target exams you are preparing for
- Preferred language
About PwD status — this field is optional and you may leave it blank.
Examination authorities grant additional age relaxation to candidates with benchmark disabilities, and the amount of relaxation differs by disability category. We offer this field for one reason only: so that our Eligibility Matcher can show you the correct age limit and the full set of posts you may apply for. If you leave it blank, the matcher applies the standard limits for your category and every other feature works exactly the same.
We recognise this is sensitive personal information. Accordingly:
- It is never required. No feature is withheld and no account is restricted if you do not provide it.
- It is used for age-eligibility calculation only. It is not used for personalisation, advertising, segmentation, analytics or any form of profiling.
- It is never shown to other users and never appears on any leaderboard or shared view.
- It is not shared with any third party, including examination authorities. You declare your own status directly to them when you apply.
- You may remove it at any time from your profile, or by writing to us, without giving a reason and without any effect on your subscription.
- We do not ask for supporting documents. Please do not send us a disability certificate, medical record or UDID number. We store only the category you select.
2.2 Learning & Performance Data
When you use the paid dashboard, the Daily 10 challenge, or the practice engine, we record:
- The questions you attempt
- The answer you selected and whether it was correct
- The time you took on each question
- Your topic-wise accuracy and speed over time
- Your readiness score and weak-topic priority list
- Streaks, daily challenge scores and leaderboard position
This data exists so that we can generate your personal readiness score and weak-topic priority list. It is the core of the paid service.
2.3 Payment Information
Payments are processed through a secure third-party payment gateway (Razorpay, operated by Razorpay Software Private Limited). We do not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking credentials on our servers. We store only the transaction reference, plan purchased, amount, date and subscription status. The payment gateway has its own privacy policy governing its handling of your data.
2.4 Communication Data
Information you share through forms, email, WhatsApp, or any other channel when you contact us for support.
2.5 Technical Data
When you visit our website, we automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device information
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring website
- Cookie data (see Section 10)
This is used for analytics, security and improving website performance.
3. Why We Collect This Information
We collect and process your information strictly for the following purposes:
- Service delivery: To give you access to the dashboard, forecast, Daily 10 and practice features you have subscribed to.
- Personalisation: To calculate your readiness score, weak-topic priority list and study recommendations. This is the primary purpose of collecting your learning and performance data.
- Eligibility matching: To tell you which exams you are eligible for, based on your age, education, category, state and — only if you have provided it — your PwD status.
- Authentication: To verify your identity by OTP and keep your account secure.
- Payment processing: To process subscription payments and maintain billing records.
- Communication: To send service updates, exam alerts and deadline reminders you have opted in to, and to respond to your support requests.
- Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, tax records and regulatory requirements.
- Fraud prevention: To detect and prevent fraud, misuse or unauthorised account sharing.
- Service improvement: To analyse usage in aggregate and improve our forecasts and features.
We process your data only for the purposes stated above. We do not use your data for any purpose that is not consistent with these.
4. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
4.1 Right to Access. You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you.

4.5 Right to Withdraw Consent. You may withdraw your consent for processing your data at any time. However, this may affect our ability to continue providing services to you — in particular, withdrawing consent for learning and performance data means we can no longer generate your readiness score or personal priority list.
4.6 Right to Nominate. You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Grievance Officer (see Section 13).

We never share your individual performance data, readiness score or weak-topic list with any other user, institution or third party. That data belongs to you and is visible only in your own account.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary:
- Active account data: Throughout the period of your engagement with us.

- Dispute resolution: Until the resolution of any active dispute or legal claim.

After the retention period, we securely delete or anonymise the data.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information:
- Encryption: SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit.
- Database-level access control: Our database enforces row-level security, meaning your personal data and performance records are technically accessible only to your own authenticated account.
- Restricted access: Personal data accessible only to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
- Secure payment handling: Card and banking credentials are never stored on our servers.
- Regular audits: Periodic security reviews of our systems and processes.
However, no system can guarantee 100% security. In the event of a data breach involving your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
8. International Data Transfers
Some of the third-party services we use (such as cloud hosting and analytics) may store data on servers located outside India. In such cases:
- We ensure these service providers comply with internationally recognised data protection standards.
