UPSC CMS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Combined Medical Services 2024 exam, including educational qualification and age limit, are provided below. Check the listed points to determine if you meet the specific eligibility criteria to participate in the exam.

Educational Qualification:

1. Candidates must have passed the final M.B.B.S. Examination to be eligible for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2024.
2. Candidates who are yet to complete their compulsory rotating internship are also eligible, but their admission will be provisional pending completion of the internship.

Age Limit:

1. Candidates must not exceed 32 years of age as of August 1, 2024, for most services/posts in the Combined Medical Services Examination 2024.
2. However, for Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Services, the upper age limit is 35 years.

UPSC CMS 2024 Exam

To apply for the UPSC CMS 2024 exam, individuals are required to pay a fee of ₹200/-, if he or she belongs to the General or Other Backward Class, except for Female, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment. The fee can be remitted either by cash at any Branch of SBI or through online modes such as net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI.
