SSC CPO Selection Process

The SSC CPO Exam pattern consists of 2 tiers both objective types. The Candidates who qualify the SSC CPO Tier 1 Exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test and only those candidates who clear this round of PET will be further called for the SS CPO Tier 2 Examhttps://zyaanplus.com/ssc-gd-2022/

SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2022: Tier 1

• The first paper will have 4 subjects namely General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
• The language of the question papers will be in English and Hindi except for the English section.
• Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II.
• Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Examination will be normalized.

The sections asked in SSC CPO Tier 1 Exam are:

1. General Knowledge
2. Quantitative Aptitude
3. General Reasoning
4. English Comprehension

SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2022: Tier 2

SSC CPO Tier 2 exam will be conducted online comprising of a single paper with 200 questions in English Language and with maximum marks of 200. Candidates have to complete the Exam in 120 minutes. Normalization will be done by SSC if an exam is conducted in multiple shifts. The questions asked in SSC CPO Tier 2 Exam are of English Language & Comprehension.

Note: For every wrong question there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

The Basic Salary of an SSC CPO is Rs 35400.  After the 7th Pay Commission, there has been almost a 22-24% salary hike for SSC CPO Officers. The SSC CPO Gross Salary is Rs 47, 496.
